2. Spend time near water.
There’s something about the water that soothes the soul. If you’ve been doing a lot of beach trips with your family and friends, spend some time near a stream, pond, or river by yourself and simply be. If you’ve been hosting pool parties, keep the doors closed one weekend and just float around on your own. This will give you time to reflect and relax, and get your toes wet without the surprise splashing.

3. Plan a staycation.
Our summers are usually filled up with trips to driving destinations or plane trips to exotic countries. This summer, take some time for a simple staycation. Enjoy the solitude of a quiet home by running a bubble bath and finally getting started on that book you’ve been meaning to read. 4. Eat healthy, colorful food.
